Beth pioneered a program at the Oakland Zoo that provides homeopathy to zoo animals, and she continues to consult for animals there. She is a Certified Classical Homeopath (CCH), a title awarded by the Council for Homeopathic Certification, a national organization promoting excellence in homeopathy. She is also a registered homeopath with the North American Society of Homeopaths (RSHom NA.) She graduated from the three-year program at Pacific Academy of Homeopathy in San Francisco. Beth consults for animals at Creature Comfort Holistic Veterinary Center in Oakland, and for humans at Back to Life Wellness Center in Alameda.
In homeopathy, she finds the perfect blend of her talents, as she loves listening to the story of each person or animal in combination with his/her physical symptoms, and finding its resonance with the natural world in a homeopathic remedy. In her homeopathic practice, she combines classical homeopathic research techniques with her intuitive skills. Again and again, she finds that when empathic observation leads her to the appropriate homeopathic remedy for an animal, he/she experiences deep healing. She is especially interested in the relationship between humans and their animals and finds this relationship often has bearing on her remedy selection. She always enjoys the opportunity to treat a person at her wellness center, and consult for his/her animal at Creature Comfort, and finds that the best healing for both is often accomplished in this way.
